emux_diag Tool Enhancement
As of the June, 2001 release, the emux_diag tool has been enhanced to
display the board version number. This was done to allow users to
determine if a PCI Mux 64-port card was the 5 volt version or the 3.3 volt
and 5 volt version without having to remove hardware from their system.
In order to use this function, the user views a “Rev_ID” number found in
the drop-down menu titled “Driver Status”, selection titled “Board
Status”, field titled “Rev_ID”.
Here are the various Rev_ID values, along with their meanings:
• Rev_ID = 5; 3.3 volt PCI Mux 8 Card
• Rev_ID = 6; 3.3 volt PCI Mux 64 Card
• Rev_ID = anything else; 5 volt Card
