PCI Mux Installation Procedure
Chapter 226
NOTE If installing the MUX hardware before the MUX software use the
following steps:
• List each card and the number of the PCI slot in which it will be
installed.
• Install MUX cards in the appropriate slots and connect the port
modules and power supplies, if any.
• Power up the system.
• Install the MUX software using the swinstall program.
• Reboot the system again to activate the MUX Cards.
