Creating Special Device Files
After installing the PCI MUX cards, the following devices have to be
created for callout()/callin()functionalities:
•
/dev/ttydXYZ
• /dev/culXYZ
• /dev/cuaXYZ
where X is the tty instance number
Z is the port number
Y can be:
'a' for 8 port card and 1st port module of 64 port card
'b' fot 2nd port module of 64 port card
'c' fot 3rd port module of 64 port card
'd' fot 4th port module of 64 port card
