Known Problems and Workarounds
This section describes known problems and workarounds for version
B.11.11.02 of the J2793B X.25 product.
• Coexistence between the X.25 PSI cards and the ACC (Advanced
Communication Controller) cards on the same system is not
supported.
You can use PSI cards supported by the J2793B product or ACC
cards supported by the Z7476AA product, but do not install both
cards on the same system.
If the X.25/ACC Link software product is installed and even if
not in use the PCI cards cannot be used.
Coexistence between these products may be supported in a future
release.
• If you are using modulo-128 with any of the following cards and you
set Level 2 window size to the maximum setting, you may experience
periodic frame resets and retransmission of packets because of
memory allocation restrictions on these cards:
— J2792A HP-PB (NIO) 1-port card
— J2794A EISA 1-port card
— J3526A PCI 4-port card
Workaround. We recommend that you adjust the maximum Level 2
window size range to the following values:
Table 1-1 Recommended Window Sizes
Level 3 Packet Size Level 2 Window Size
4096 1 - 30
2048 1 - 60
1024 1 - 120

256 1 - 127
