Requirements
The following section lists the hardware and software requirements for
the J2793B X.25 product.
Installation Requirements
Version B.11.11.02 of J2793B requires the HP-UX 11i software to be
installed and correctly configured.
To use the OLAR feature, your system must be running HP-UX 11i.
The High Availability feature requires that the HP MC/ServiceGuard
product (B3935BA) is installed and that the X.25 software uses switches
that support the Hunt Group Facility which allows multiple DTEs to
share a common X.121 address.
NOTE HP MC/ServiceGuard product works on servers only.
Refer to the X.25/9000 User’s Guide for instructions on configuring the
High Availability features of the X.25 software.
