• If the driver is displayed, check whether the dmesg/syslog output shows error messages
pertaining to any of the following LAN drivers:
◦ btlan
◦ gelan
◦ iether
◦ igelan
◦ icxgbe
◦ iexgbe
◦ ixgbe
◦ iocxgbe
Also, check nettl log messages. If there are errors, check the card installation and reset or
reseat the card, and repeat this test. Otherwise, call your HP representative for assistance.
Note that NetTL creates the following log files:
◦ nettl.LOG000
◦ nettl.LOG001
• If the driver is not displayed, install it using swinstall and use the appropriate kernel
configuration commands.
