When you sort the Pr

the list, the column may not sort correctly.
Switch may not be discovered if it uses a previously discovered IP address
When a switch has been removed from HAFM management and another switch is
added using the same IP address, HAFM may not discover the new switch.
Workaround
Restarting the HA
FM appliance allows the switch to be discovered and does not impact
switch operatio
ns or disrupt fabric operations.
Hardware view may remain blank after executing a CTP switchover
The Hardware View for a Director may remain blank after a CT P switchover is executed.
Workaround
Close the Element Manager and then stop and restart HAFM services. Restarting the
HAFM appliance also corrects this issue and does not impact switch operations or
disrupt fabri
coperations.
Downloading firmware to a Director with a single CTP
When you download firmware to a Director with a single CTP, the configuration
information is lost.
Workaround
Back up the configuration before you download the firmware and then restore the
configuration after the download is complete.
HAFM event logging i ssues
The following are event logging issues in HAFM:
• Clear Threshold Alert events are not logged in the Threshold Alert Log in HAFM.
• TheFCAddressboxintheNodeListviewcannotbesortedonall3partsofthe
Port Address. HA FM sorts on the Domain and Area boxes of the Por t Address
only, and the Port box is not used.
• HAFM Event Log may not record system power up and standby ready events
after a system power down is executed.
• HAFM Fabric Log may falsely report that ISLs are added or removed.
