A. Yes.

Is the MPU of the router hot swappable?
A. No. The router uses a built-in MPU, which is not hot swappable.

Does the router (including the software of the router) need any license registration?
A. No.

What FIP modules are supported on the router?
A. The router supports the following FIP modules:
FIP-10Has four interface module slots and supports MIMs.
FIP-20Has two interface module slots and supports MIMs/HIMs.
The FIP-110 and FIP-210 are not supported.

Does the router support SAP/OAP modules?
A. No.

How are the slots and interfaces numbered on the router?
A. The interfaces of the router are numbered in the form of interface-type X/Y/Z, as follows:
Interface-type—Type of the interface, such as GE port or serial port.
X—Number of the slot where the MPU or the FIP-10/FIP-20 resides.
The MPU on the router is fixed and its slot number is 0.
The slot number for the FIP module is 1. Different interface modules on the same FIP module have the
same slot number 1.
Y—Number of the sub-slot where the HIM/MIM resides on the FIP module.
