Unmounting the USB device

To ensure the safety of the USB device and data, you must unmount the USB device by using the

Windows Safely Remove Hardware feature before disconnecting the router from the host.

To disconnect the router from the host, follow the following steps:

1. At the right corner of the taskbar on the Windows desktop, double-click the Safely Remove

Hardware icon, select USB Mass Storage Device from the pop-up window, and then click Stop.
