reflector cluster-id (MBGP address family view)
Use reflector cluster-id to configure the cluster ID for the route reflectors.
Use undo reflector cluster-id to remove the configured cluster ID.
Syntax
reflector cluster-id { cluster-id | ip-address }
undo reflector cluster-id
Default
Each route reflector uses its router ID as the cluster ID.
Views
IPv4 MBGP address family view
Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
cluster-id: Specifies a cluster ID for route reflectors, in the range of 1 to 4294967295.
ip-address: Specifies an IP address for route reflectors, in the format of an IP address.
Usage guidelines
A route is reflected by a route reflector from a client to another client. The router ID of the route reflector
is the ID of the cluster. You can configure multiple route reflectors to improve network stability. If a cluster
has multiple route reflectors, you must use the reflector cluster-id command to specify the same cluster ID
for these route reflectors to avoid routing loops.
Examples
# Specify 80 as the cluster ID, which is one of multiple route reflectors in the cluster.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] bgp 100
[Sysname-bgp] ipv4-family multicast
[Sysname-bgp-af-mul] reflector cluster-id 80
