The GR and NSR features are mutually exclusive. Do not configure the graceful-restart and
non-stop-routing commands at the same time.
Examples
# Enable the Graceful Restart capability for BGP process 100.

[Sysname] bgp 100
[Sysname-bgp] graceful-restart
graceful-restart timer restart
Use graceful-restart timer restart to configure the maximum time for a peer to reestablish a BGP session.
Use undo graceful-restart timer restart to restore the default.
Syntax
graceful-restart timer restart timer
undo graceful-restart timer restart
Default
The maximum time for a peer to reestablish a BGP session is 150 seconds.

Parameters
timer: Maximum time for a peer to reestablish a BGP session, in the range of 3 to 600 seconds.
Usage guidelines
Before you configure this command, you must enable the BGP Graceful Restart capability.
Examples
# Configure the maximum time for a peer to reestablish a BGP session as 300 seconds.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] bgp 100
[Sysname-bgp] graceful-restart timer restart 300
