Rewrite inbound tag
Inbound packet processing rule, which can be defined to add, swap, or
remove VLAN tags for inbound packets that fit the packet matching rule.
Rewrite out bound tag
Outbound packet processing rule, which can be defined to add, swap, or
remove VLAN tags for outbound packets that fit the packet matching rule.
Local group ID of the local switching group associated with the service instance.
encapsulation
NOTE:
This command is supported only on routers with SAP-4EXPs.
Use encapsulation to configure a packet matching rule for the current service instance.
Use undo encapsulation to remove the packet matching rule of the current service instance.
Syntax
encapsulation { port-based | s-vid vlan-id | tagged | untagged }
undo encapsulation
Default
No packet matching rules have been configured for a service instance.

Parameters
s-vid: Specifies that the VLAN IDs specified for the vlan-list argument are outer VLAN IDs.
vlan-id: Specifies a VLAN ID in the range of 1 to 4094.
port-based: Matches packets by port.
all: Specifies all VLANs.
tagged: Matches tagged packets.
untagged: Matches untagged packets.
Usage guidelines
The packet matching rule you configured overwrites the previous configuration, if any.
You cannot modify the packet matching rule configured for a service instance if any of the following
conditions is true:
• The modification conflicts with a packet processing rule.
• The service instance has set up local switching with another service instance after being associated
with the same local switching group.
• The forwarding mode in the current service instance is MPLS L2VPN.
