Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies a card by its slot number.
Usage guidelines
After a card is specified to handle traffic for an HDLC link bundle interface, all traffic that arrives at the
bundle interface will be processed or forwarded by the card regardless of whether the receiving
interface is located on the card or not. If the card specified by this command is removed, traffic
forwarding failure results for the HDLC link bundle interface. After the card is re-installed, traffic
forwarding is restored.
You can use this function to achieve the following purposes:
• Alleviate the processing pressure on a card and make efficient use of processing capabilities of
service cards.
• Avoid the change of processing card caused by the selected state changes of member interfaces
that are located on different cards.
