2: System level
Parameters
vpn-speed: Upper speed limit of the VPLS instance in kbps, in the range of 64 to 4194303.
The system automatically calculates a speed that is the greatest multiple of 64 kbps between 64 and the
specified value.
Usage guidelines
This command, together with the broadcast-restrain command, defines a threshold that is used in
suppressing the broadcast traffic (including broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast traffic) of the VPLS
instance. When the speed of the broadcast traffic exceeds the threshold, that is, the product of the speed
limit and the broadcast suppression ratio, the extra broadcast traffic will be dropped.
This command alone can suppress the unicast traffic of the VPLS instance. When the speed of the unicast
traffic exceeds the limit, the extra unicast traffic will be dropped.
Examples
# Set the upper speed limit of VPLS instance aaa to 10 Mbps.

broadcast-restrain
