the CE3 interface and E1
line is slave, which is line
clock.
7. Set the national bit.

The default is 1.
8. Enable loopback.
• For the CE3 interface:

• For an E1 line:

Optional.
Loopback is disabled by
default.
9. Set E1 framing format on an
E1 line.

10. Set the intended bandwidth
for the CE3 interface.
