the running configuration directly overwrites the old configuration file without backing up the file. HP
recommends that you enter Y or y and manually copy the backup file _config_bak.cfg on the active MPU
to the standby MPU.
# Save the running configuration to the configuration file test.cfg on the standby MPU in slot 1.
• Method 1:

required.

Use slave auto-update config to enable the configuration auto-update function for the standby MPU to
automatically save the running configuration as the active MPU does when you execute the save [ safely ]
[ backup | main ] [ force ] command or the save file-url all command.
Use undo slave auto-update config to disable the function.
