Field Descri
p
tion
The location of patches
Patch loading location. You can use the patch location command to change
the location.
Slot
On the 6602/HSR6602 router, slot number is fixed at 0.
On the 6604/6608/6616 router, this field specifies the slot number of a
card. If the card has only one CPU, this field displays the card slot number.
If the card has multiple CPUs, the primary CPU is identified by the card slot
number, and an auxiliary CPU is identified by slot-number.cpu-id.
Version
Patch version. A patch file is named in the patch_PATCH-FlAG suffix.bin
format. The PATCH-FLAG suffix is predefined and must be the same as the
first three characters of the value for the Version field. If a patch file is not
correctly named, the system cannot identify the file.
Temporary
Number of temporary patches. These patches are interim solutions that are
provided to fix critical bugs. They are not formally released.
