Interface cable

The HIM-PS1P must work with an SFP transceiver module and an optical fiber with LC-type connectors.

HIM-AL1P/HIM-AL2P

The HIM-AL1P and HIM-AL2P are OC-3/STM-1 (155 Mbps) Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM)

interface modules. The HIM-AL1P provides an SFP port and the port is provided with two LEDs, which

indicate the interface running status and fault detection status respectively. The HIM-AL2P provides two

SFP ports.

The HIM-AL1P/HIM-AL2P has the following features:

• Supports frame formats of SDH STM-1 and SONET OC-3C.

• Allows data scrambling transmission.

• Supports line clock mode and internal clock mode.

• Provides self loopback testing measures such as internal cell loopback, external SONET/SDH

loopback, and remote loopback.

• Supports hot swapping.
