Description
DLDP Packet Type
DLDP packet type:
• ERROR—Error DLDP packet.
• ADVERTISEMENT—Advertisement packet.
• PROBE—Probe packet.
• ECHO—Echo packet.
• ADVERTISEMENT-RSY—RSY packet.
• ADVERTISEMENT-FLUSH—Flush packet.
• DLDP-DOWN—Disable packet.
• LINK-DOWN—Linkdown packet.
• RECOVER-PROBE—RecoverProbe packet.
• RECOVER-ECHO—RecoverEcho packet.
Flags
RSY tag carried in DLDP packets:
• NO_RSY—Common Advertisement packet.
• RSY—RSY packet.
• FLUSH—Flush packet.
•
NO FLAG—The current packet type ignores the flag bit.
Authentication mode
Authentication mode:
• NONE—No authentication is performed.
• SIMPLE—Plain text authentication is adopted.
• MD5—MD5 authentication is adopted.

at the interval of 10 seconds, output similar to the following example is generated:
The output in this example was created when the following conditions exist:

DLDP is enabled on Device A and Device B globally and on Ethernet 1/1 of both devices.
•
Device A sends Advertisement packets at the interval of 5 seconds.
