2SlaveWait. The device is joining the IRF fabric
as a subordinate device.
3MasterWait. The device is joining the IRF fabric
as the master.
4Slave. Subordinate device.
5Master. Master device.
6Loading. The subordinate device is loading the
system software image.
7Fail. Master election failed.
Examples
The example in this section uses the following prerequisites:
The IRF fabric is in chained topology.
The IRF fabric has three member devices, of which member device 1 is the master.
# Enable master election debugging on the IRF fabric. When the master device sends an election
message, output similar to the following example is generated:
