State of the master election state machine:
• 0—Initial. The state machine is initialized.
• 1—Electing. Master election is being performed.
• 2—SlaveWait. The device is joining the IRF fabric
as a subordinate device.
• 3—MasterWait. The device is joining the IRF fabric
as the master.
• 4—Slave. Subordinate device.
• 5—Master. Master device.
• 6—Loading. The subordinate device is loading the
system software image.
• 7—Fail. Master election failed.
Examples
The example in this section uses the following prerequisites:

The IRF fabric is in chained topology.

The IRF fabric has three member devices, of which member device 1 is the master.
