Loopback detection debugging commands
The loopback detection module name is identified as "LPDT" in debugging messages.
debugging loopback-detection
Use debugging loopback-detection to enable loopback detection debugging.
Use undo debugging loopback-detection to disable loopback detection debugging.
Syntax
debugging loopback-detection { abnormal | all | event | packet [ vlan vlan-id ] }
undo debugging loopback-detection { abnormal | all | event | packet [ vlan vlan-id ] }

Loopback detection debugging is disabled.

Parameters
abnormal: Specifies loopback detection error debugging.
all: Specifies all types of loopback detection debugging.
event: Specifies loopback detection event debugging.
packet: Specifies loopback detection packet debugging.
vlan vlan-id: Specifies a VLAN by its ID, in the range of 1 to 4094. If you do not specify a VLAN, this
command enables or disables loopback detection packet debugging for all VLANs.
Usage guidelines
When you use this command, the following rules apply:
•
If you enabled loopback detection packet debugging on 10 or less VLAN, this command displays
the enabled debugging functions for all VLANs.
•
If you enabled loopback detection packet debugging on more than10 VLANs, this command
displays the enabled debugging functions for 10 VLANs with the smallest VLAN IDs in an
ascending order of VLAN IDs.
•
If you do not specify a VLAN, this command enables or disables loopback detection packet
debugging for all VLANs. The VLAN IDs are not displayed.
