− The descriptor type is
Descriptor Type, and the
descriptor length is
Descriptor Length.
− The Descriptor Type values
include:
• 0x01—Priority.
• 0x02—MAC address.
• 0x03—FC-M AP.
• 0x04—Name_Identifier.
• 0x05—Fabric.
• 0x06—Maximum packet size.
• 0x07—FLOGI.
• 0x09—LOGO.
• 0x0B—Vx_Port.
• 0x0C—FKA_ADV_Period.
− Max_FCoE_Size is − Maximum packet size.
− VF_ID − VSAN_ID.
− Version − FIP frame version.
− Protocol Code − Protocol code of the FIP
frame.
− Subcode − Protocol subcode of the FIP
frame.
− Descriptor List Length − Length in words of all FIP
descriptors.
− FP,SP − Values of the FP bit and SP
bit in the FIP frame.
− A,S,F − Values of the A bit, S bit,
and F bit in the FIP frame.
− Input FIP packet to FIP queue
successfully
− FIP packet successfully
assigned to the FIP queue.

example is generated when an FIP-capable N_Port connects to a VFC interface and initiates FLOGIN:
