HP Comware 5 Debug Manual Vol 2
debugging fr congestion
# Enable FR congestion management debugging. Output similar to the following example is generated
when congestion occurs on DLCI 200 and congestion management is configured on the outbound
interface Serial 2/0 for FR switching.
<Sysname> debugging fr congestion
*0.15643800 Sysname FR/7/debug8: CONGEST: Serial2/0:0 DLCI:200 configured an FECN pkt
// A frame was sent with FECN bit set to 1 on DLCI 200 towards the downstream device towards the
destination.
*0.15997090 Sysname FR/7/debug8: CONGEST: Serial2/0:0 DLCI:200 configured a BECN pkt
// A packet was sent with BECN bit set to 1 towards the source.
*0.15643800 Sysname FR/7/debug8: CONGEST: Serial6/0/0:0 DLCI:100 Sent a Q922 response pkt
// Without receiving backward packets for a period of time, the router performed the following
operations:
•
Looked up the frame relay switching table.
•
Sent a Q.922A Test Response message with BECN bit 1 to the calling DTE out the inbound PVC
(DLCI 100) on the switching inbound interface Serial 2/1:0.
*0.15997090 Sysname FR/7/debug8: CONGEST: Serial2/1:0 DLCI:200 dropped a DE pkt
// A packet with DE bit 1 was dropped because congestion was present.
debugging fr de
# Enable DE debugging for FRTS. Output similar to the following example is generated when you
configure the DE rule list in system view and apply the list to an FR DLCI.
<Sysname> debugging fr de
*0.1291312 Sysname FR/7/debug8: DE-LIST: Serial2/0:0 DLCI:200 set DE bit
with a pkt for the rule of interface
// A DE rule required that the DE bit in the frame relay header of the packets sent from a specified
interface be set to 1.
*0.15802521 Sysname FR/7/debug8: DE-LIST: Serial2/0:0 DLCI:100 set DE bit with a pkt for
the rule of ip
// A DE rule required that the DE bit in the frame relay header of IP packets be set to 1.
*0.1178906 Sysname FR/7/debug8: DE-LIST: Serial2/0:0 DLCI:200 set DE bit
with a pkt for the rule of fragments
// A DE rule required that the DE bit in the frame relay header of IP fragments be set to 1.
Other rules take a similar format.
debugging fr lmi
# Enable LMI debugging. Output similar to the following example is generated when LMI is enabled on
the connecting interfaces or DLCIs under the following conditions:
•
Router A and Router B are connected through interfaces.
•
Frame relay is enabled on these interfaces.
<RouterA> debugging fr lmi
*0.266083750 RouterA FR/7/debug8: LMI: Serial2/1 (out) status enquiry, full
*0.266083750 RouterA FR/7/debug8: ssn = 1, rsn = 0
// A full status request carrying SSN and RSN was sent out DLCI 200 on Serial 2/1.
*0.266083765 RouterA FR/7/debug8: LMI: Serial2/1 (in) status, full
