Preparing for installation
Wear an ESD-preventive wrist strap, and make sure the wrist strap makes good skin contact and is well
grounded.
If the router has been mounted on a rack, remove it from the rack.
If an air filter has been installed on the router, remove the air filter.
Installing the opacity shield kit
The opacity shield kits for the HSR6802 and HSR6804 are installed in the same way. This section uses
an HSR6802 as an example.
Attaching left-side opacity shield guide rails
Use M3 countersunk-head screws to attach the left-side opacity shield guide rails to the chassis as
shown in the figure.

Installing the rear opacity shield
Remove the fastening screws on the rear of the chassis, install hex bolts, align the holes on the opacity
shield with the holes in the hex bolts, press the opacity shield against the rear panel, and use M3
countersunk-head screws to secure the opacity shield.
