Unmounting a hot-swappable card or subcard
IMPORTANT:
• Unmounting a card or subcard causes service interruption.
• You can use this feature to unmount only hot-swappable card or subcard. To install or remove a
non-hot-swappable card, you must power off the device.
To install a hot-swappable card or subcard, you only need to insert it to a slot in the device. To remove
a hot-swappable card or subcard, however, you must first unmount the card.
To unmount a hot-swappable card or subcard, execute the following command in user view:

These commands apply to only
hot-swappable cards and
subcards. To install or remove
non-hot-swappable cards and
subcards, you must power off the

Specifying a poweron priority for a card
HSR6800 routers support both AC power supplies and DC power supplies. However, one HSR6800
router can use only one type of power supplies. The power supplies are hot-swappable.
On an HSR6800, you can specify different poweron priorities for cards. The power of the router
becomes sufficient, a card with a higher priority is powered on prior to a card with a lower priority.
To specify a poweron priority for a card in standalone mode:
