9. Set the framing format.

interface is C-bit.
• The framing format on the T1
line is ESF.
10. Configure alarm signal
detection/sending.
• On the CT3 interface:

• On a T1 line:

Optional.
Alarm detection is enabled by
default.
11. Start a BERT test.
• On the CT3 interface:
