shutdown command, and then the
undo shutdown command to make
your modifications take effect.
NOTE:
If no cable is connected to a physical interface, shut down the interface with the shutdown command to
prevent anomalies caused by interference. Use the shutdown command with caution because once an
interface is shut down, it stops operating.
Enabling sub-interface rate statistics collection for a POS
interface
With sub-interface rate statistics collection enabled for a POS interface, the device refreshes the
sub-interface rate statistics of the POS interface periodically. Use the display command to view the
collected statistics.
