Usage guidelines
This command can take effect only after IP multicast routing is enabled in the corresponding instance.
PIM-DM cannot be used for multicast groups in the SSM group range.
Examples
# Enable IP multicast routing on the public network, and enable PIM-DM on GigabitEthernet 2/1/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] multicast routing-enable
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/1/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] pim dm

pim hello-option dr-priority
Use pim hello-option dr-priority to configure the router priority for DR election on the current interface.
Use undo pim hello-option dr-priority to restore the default.
Syntax
pim hello-option dr-priority priority
undo pim hello-option dr-priority

The router priority for DR election is 1.

priority: Specifies a router priority for DR election, in the range of 0 to 4294967295. A larger value
means a higher priority.

# Set the router priority for DR election to 3 on GigabitEthernet 2/1/1.
