Syntax
vlan-type dot1q vid vlan-list
undo vlan-type dot1q vid vlan-list
Views

Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
vlan-list: Specifies a space-separated list of up to outermost 10 VLAN items. Each item specifies a single
VLAN ID or a VLAN ID range in the form of vlan-id1 to vlan-id2. The value range for VLAN IDs is 1 to
4094. The ID for vlan-id2 must be equal to or greater than the ID for vlan-id1.
Usage guidelines
You cannot configure multiple subinterfaces under an Ethernet interface to terminate VLAN-tagged
packets from the same VLAN. The VLAN ID ranges specified by the vlan-list argument for different
subinterfaces cannot overlap with each other.
After you use the undo vlan-type dot1q vid command to disable Dot1q termination on the subinterface,
the subinterface will restart, and the ARP table entry corresponding to the subinterface will be removed.
Examples
# Configure GigabitEthernet 4/0/1.1 to terminate VLAN-tagged packets with the outermost VLAN IDs in
the range of 2 to 100.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface GigabitEthernet 4/0/1.1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet4/0/1.1] vlan-type dot1q vid 2 to 100
vlan-type dot1q vid second-dot1q
Use vlan-type dot1q vid second-dot1q to enable QinQ termination, and specify the Layer 2 and Layer
1 VLAN IDs of VLAN-tagged packets that can be terminated by the current subinterface.
Use undo vlan-type dot1q vid second-dot1q to restore the default.
Syntax
vlan-type dot1q vid vlan-id second-dot1q { vlan-list | any }
undo vlan-type dot1q vid vlan-id second-dot1q { vlan-list | any }

Parameters
vlan-id: Specifies a Layer 1 VLAN ID in the range of 1 to 4094.
any: Specifies all values between 1 and 4094 other than the Layer 2 VLAN IDs assigned to other
subinterfaces that have the same Layer 1 VLAN ID as the current subinterface. For example, assume that
the current subinterface is configured to terminate VLAN-tagged packets with Layer 1 VLAN ID x, and
