VLAN mapping configuration examples
Packets sent by PCs are VLAN untagged. If a PC is directly attached to a building router, configure the
port on the building router as an access or trunk port:
If the port is configured as an access port, assign it to the SVLAN.
If the port is configured as a trunk port, specify the SVLAN as the port VLAN ID (PVID).

Network requirements
As shown in Figure 72:
Each enterprise department is offered PC, VoD, and VoIP services, connects to a building router
through the enterprise department's gateway, and obtains the IP address through DHCP.
VLAN 1 is assigned for PC traffic, VLAN 2 is assigned for VoD traffic, and VLAN 3 is assigned for
VoIP service traffic on the enterprise department's gateways.
To isolate traffic of the same service type from different enterprise departments, assign one VLAN for
each type of traffic from each user on the building routers.
To save VLAN resources, perform many-to-one VLAN mapping on the campus router (Router C) to
transmit the same type of traffic from different enterprise departments in one VLAN. Use VLAN 501 for
PC traffic, VLAN 502 for VoD traffic, and VLAN 503 for VoIP traffic.
Each router is installed with SAP modules (for example, 48-GBE SAP modules) operating in bridge mode.
