R3303-HP HSR6800 Routers Layer 2 - WAN Command Reference

154
Usage guidelines
Before performing this command, make sure the specified MFR interface already exists. A maximum of
16 physical interfaces can be bundled onto an MFR interface.
To delete a physical interface from an MFR interface, use the link-protocol command on the interface to
configure a link layer protocol except MFR.
After MFR encapsulation is enabled on a physical interface, the interface belongs to an MFR interface
and cannot be configured with any FR-related commands except MFR. In addition, the queuing type on
the interface can be configured as first in first out (FIFO) only. If the interface uses another queuing type
before you configure the MFR encapsulation, the interface is forced to use FIFO after you configure the
MFR encapsulation.
Examples
# Configure Serial 2/0/0 as a bundle link and add it onto the Frame Relay bundle interface MFR4/0/0.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface serial 2/0/0
[Sysname-Serial2/0/0] link-protocol fr mfr 4/0/0
mfr bundle-name
Use mfr bundle-name to set frame relay bundle identifier (BID).
Use undo mfr bundle-name to restore the default.
Syntax
mfr bundle-name [ name ]
undo mfr bundle-name
Default
The BID of an MFR bundle is represented by MFR plus frame relay bundle number, for example,
MFR4/0/0.

Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
name: Bundle identification, which is a string of 1 to 49 characters.
Usage guidelines
You cannot configure a BID as a string in the form of MFR + number.
Each MFR bundle has a BID, and the peer device can identify an MFR bundle by BID. Different BIDs can
be used at both ends of a link.
The BIDs at both ends are used during the link bundle negotiation phase. After changing the BID of an
MFR interface, you must execute the shutdown and undo shutdown command on the interface to make
the new BID take effect.
Examples
# Set the frame relay link BID to bundle1 for MFR 4/0/0.
