Usage guidelines
The device supports 4-byte AS numbers by default. If the peer device supports only 2-byte AS numbers,
you must enable the 4-byte AS number suppression function on the local device.
If the peer device supports 4-byte AS numbers, do not enable the suppression function. Otherwise, the
BGP peer relationship cannot be established.

peer connect-interface (BGP/BGP-VPN instance view)
Use peer connect-interface to specify the source interface for establishing TCP connections to a
peer/peer group.
Use undo peer connect-interface to restore the default.
Syntax
peer { group-name | ip-address } connect-interface interface-type interface-number
undo peer { group-name | ip-address } connect-interface
Default
BGP uses the outbound interface of the best route to the BGP peer/peer group as the source interface for
establishing a TCP connection to the peer/peer group.
