• If no preference is set by the routing policy, the preference of all RIP routes is set by the preference
command.

reset rip process
Use reset rip process to reset the specified RIP process.
Syntax
reset rip process-id process

process-id: Specifies a RIP process by its ID in the range of 1 to 65535.
Usage guidelines
After you execute the command, the system prompts you to confirm a reset of the RIP process.

# Reset RIP process 100.

reset rip statistics
Use reset rip statistics to clear the statistics of the specified RIP process. This command can clear the
statistics of debugging.
