Configuring an OSPF stub area
Network requirements
• Enable OSPF on all routers, split the AS into three areas.
• Configure Router A and Router B as ABRs to forward routing information between areas.
• Configure Router D as the ASBR to redistribute static routes.
• Configure Area 1 as a stub area to reduce LSAs advertised without influencing reachability.

Configuration procedure
1. Configure IP addresses for interfaces. (Details not shown.)
2. Configure OSPF basic functions (see "Configuring OSPF basic functions").
3. Configure Router D to redistribute static routes:
