3. Configure the link layer
protocol.

By default, the link layer protocol
of an interface is PPP.
4. Enter FR point-to-point
subinterface view.

Required for FR DLCI
encapsulation.
5. Create a virtual circuit.
fr dlci dlci-number
By default, no virtual circuit exists.
Required for FR DLCI
encapsulation.
The DLCI number must be the same
as that configured on the
connected CE.
Configuring the interface with Ethernet encapsulation
