Installing the opacity shield kit

ARNING!

• Only use the screws and hex bolts that are supplied in the opacity shield kit to secure the opacity

shield.

• The opacity shield kit for the HSR6802/HSR6804 router is only compatible with an HP 10000 rack.

The opacity shield kit is not supplied with the router. Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3 describe the

opacity shield assemblies in the kit.

If the router has been mounted on a rack, remove it from the rack. If an air filter has been installed on the router, remove the air filter. Installing the opacity shield kit The opacity shield kits for the HSR6802 and HSR6804 are installed in the same way. This section uses an HSR6802 as an example.

Alcohol-based cleaning pads are recommended. • Apply tamper evidence labels to all removable components on the device. • Three tamper evidence labels are provided with the FIPS enclosure assembly. This section describes how to apply tamper evidence labels to an HSR6802.
