Parameters
discriminator: Specifies the discriminator values of the BFD session.
local local-id: Specifies the local discriminator value of the BFD session, in the range of 1 to 4096.
remote remote-id: Specifies the remote discriminator value of the BFD session, in the range of 1 to
4294967295.
Usage guidelines
Enable LSP verification by using the mpls lspv command first before executing the mpls te bfd enable
command.
BFD session parameters are those configured on the TE tunnel interface. The source address of the BFD
session is the MPLS LSR ID. Before enabling BFD for an MPLS TE tunnel, make sure a route is available on
the peer device to the MPLS LSR ID. You can also configure the BFD session parameters on the tunnel
interface as needed. For information about BFD parameter configuration, see High Availability
Configuration Guide.

# Enable BFD for the MPLS TE tunnel on tunnel interface Tunnel 1.
