multicast-restrain
Use multicast-restrain to set the multicast suppression ratio for a VPLS instance.
Use undo multicast-restrain to restore the default.
Syntax
multicast-restrain ratio
undo multicast-restrain
Default
The multicast suppression ratio for a VPLS instance is 100%.

Parameters
ratio: Specifies the multicast suppression ratio for the VPLS instance, in the range of 1 to 100, in
percentage.
Usage guidelines
Together with the bandwidth command, this command can suppress the multicast traffic in a VPLS
instance. When the speed of the multicast traffic exceeds the product of the speed limit and this ratio, the
extra multicast traffic is dropped.
Examples
# Set the multicast suppression ratio for VPLS instance aaa to 50%.

[Sysname-vsi-aaa] multicast-restrain 50
peer (VSI-LDP view/VSI-static view)
Use peer to create a peer PE for a VPLS instance, and enter L2VPN peer view.
Use undo peer to remove a peer PE.
