The default system MED value is 0.

med-value: Specifies the default value of the Multi-Exit-Discriminator (MED), in the range of 0 to
4294967295.
Usage guidelines
With other criteria the same, the system selects the route with a smaller MED value as the AS external
route.
Examples
# Set the default MED to 10 in BGP-VPNv4 subaddress family view.
