Compatibility Information and Installation Requirements

This section describes the software and hardware requirements for installing HyperFabric on

the HP-UX 11i v3 operating system.

Prerequisites

• Before you install the HyperFabric version B.11.31.01, you must have already installed

the HP-UX 11i v3 operating system.

Software Requirements

The various software requirements for HyperFabric versions B.11.31.01 are described in the

following sections.

Software Product Numbers within swinstall

When you install HyperFabric software with swinstall, select HyprFabrc-00 as the product

number for HP-UX 11i v3 operating systems.

Disk Space and Memory Requirements

For proper operation, HyperFabric software versions B.11.31.01 requires the following disk

space and memory:

• A minimum of 512 MB of system memory per adapter.

• 12 MB free disk space.
