For example, if there is a single card-pair (i.e., 2 CLIC adapters) present in a system, you can

set the following attributes to the given values:

• CLIC_ATTR_APPL_MAX_PROCS 4997

• CLIC_ATTR_APPL_MAX_NQS 9994

• CLIC_ATTR_APPL_MAX_MEM_EPTS 9994

• CLIC_ATTR_APPL_MAX_RECV_EPTS 9994

System tunables for the shared memory should be modified based on the attribute values, but

shared memory must be less than 4 GB.

In the Non-Local Failover configuration mode, these values can be set to a maximum of (4997

* Number of CLIC cards configured). Oracle RAC users must use the Local Failover

configuration mode.
