Let’s assume user mail73@zkodom functions as an auditor and compliance officer whose
responsibilities include searching and auditing the IAP. In order to perform these job responsibilities,
the user must have access to the audit repository (Audit-Domino) and the userauditlog.repository for
the IAP domain (abc02.userauditlog.repository). This is performed by selecting the repositories and
adding the selected repositories to the “Direct Repositories” field of mail73@zkodom user account as
illustrated in Figure 16.
Figure 16: Assigning User Access to Repositories
The mail73@zkodom user now has access to the mail54@zkodom, Audit-Domino, and the
abc02.userauditlog.repository in addition to the mail73@zkodom repository. All four repositories will
be available for the user to search via the IAP Content Search and Retrieve Interface. This allows the
user mail73@zkodom to search all email in the domain abc02 by searching the Audit-Domino
repository, and to audit user activity on the IAP abc02 domain through the
abc02.userauditlog.repository.
