HP Intelligent Management Center v7.0 VAN Fabric Manager Administrator Guide

3. Click an SPB service name in the SPB Service List.
A page appears displaying the topology, configuration, and AC list for the SPB service.
Topology
The SPB topology shows the shortest path for the SPB service. In the topology, BEBs are
identified with the Device icon , and BCBs are identified with the device icon that does
not have a letter E.
SPB Service Configuration
Service Name—SPB service name.
VSI Name—VSI name of the SPB service.
I-SID—I-SID assigned to the SPB VSI. In an SPB network, an I-SID uniquely identifies one
SPB service.
Multicast Replication Mode—Replication mode for multi-destination traffic, including
broadcast, multicast, and unknown unicast. Available options include transport replication
(also called "tandem replication"), and head-end replication.
Audit Interval (hours)—SPB service audit interval.
B-VLAN ID—The ID that B-VLAN assigned to SPB VSIs used for transporting customer
traffic. You can assign a B-VLAN to multiple SPB VSIs.
ECT Index—ECT algorithm index mapped to the B-VLAN. To forward traffic to each other
in a B-VLAN, SPB devices must have the same B-VLAN ID to ECT algorithm index mapping.
AC List
Device Name—The device name of the BEB to which the AC is attached. By default, this
field displays the device label and the device IP address. The device label is assigned in
the IMC Platform. The device IP address is the IP address used when the device was
added to the IMC Platform. For more information, see HP IMC Base Platform Administrator
Guide.
Interface Description—Interface type and number of the interface that is connected to the
AC.
Service Instance—ID of the Ethernet service instance on the interface. A service instance
identifies a category of incoming customer traffic. The traffic matching criteria are specified
by Encapsulation Type and VLANs fields.
Encapsulation Type—Customer traffic encapsulation matching criteria. For more
information, see Table 7.
VLANs—Outer VLANs assigned to the service instance. This field contains VLANs when
Encapsulation Type is SVLAN ID List or Tagged SVLAN ID List. This field is empty when
Encapsulation Type is not SVLAN ID List or Tagged SVLAN ID List.
Customer Site Name—Customer site to which the AC is connected.
Adding SPB services
You must add an SPB service before you deploy it to the SPB network.
To add an SPB service:
1. From the navigation tree, select Service > VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
