DescriptionItem
Health status of the device. The information is collected by the IMC Platform. For
more information, see HP IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.
Status
By default, this field displays the device label and the device IP address. The device
label is assigned in the IMC Platform. The device IP address is the IP address used
when the device was added to the IMC Platform. For more information, see HP IMC
Base Platform Administrator Guide.
Device Name
Device model information collected by the IMC Platform. If the device model is
unknown, this column displays Unknown SNMP Product.
Device Model
Deployment status of all SPB service configuration except for ACs:
Deploy Status
Undeployed—The SPB service has not been deployed on the device.
Normal—The SPB service has been deployed on the device.
This field contains the following icons:
Operation
Click the Add icon to add an AC on the device.
Click the Delete icon to remove the BEB role of the device. The device icon
changes to . As a result, all ACs on the device are removed.
Modifying an SPB service
Modifying the name and audit interval of an SPB service
To modify the name and audit interval of an SPB service:
1. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the SPB Services tab.
3. In the SPB service list, click the Operation icon for a service, and then select Modify Basic
Info.
4. On the 1. Basic Settings tab, modify the service name and audit interval.
Service Name—Enter an SPB service name. This name must be unique among all SPB
services in the SPB module.
Audit Interval (hours)—Enter the SPB service audit interval.
5. Click OK.
Modifying the configuration of an SPB service
To modify the configuration of an SPB service:
1. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the SPB Services tab.
3. In the SPB service list, click the Operation icon for a service, and then select Modify.
4. On the 1. Basic Settings tab, modify the SPB service settings.
For more information, see "Adding SPB services."
When you modify SPB service settings, you cannot change its I-SID.
Deleting SPB services
You can delete only SPB services in Undeployed, Failed Deploy, or Failed Modify state.
