4. Click Audit Now.
The Audit Status column displays Auditing.
5. When the audit is complete, click Refresh to verify the audit result:
If the Audit Status column displays Normal, the BEBs in the SPB service have full
connectivity.
If the Audit Status column displays Fault, the SPB service has connectivity problems. For
more information, see "Viewing audit details of SPB services."
Viewing audit details of SPB services
To view the audit detais of SPB service:
1. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the SPB Services tab.
3. In the SPB service list, click the Fault link in the Audit Status column.
The Connectivity Audit Information page displays the following information:
Connectivity—Connectivity between BEBs. If the state is Unconnected, check the path
between the BEBs for a link or node failure.
Local BEB—BEB that sent the probe request.
Remote BEB—Destination BEB of the probe request.
Last Audit—Time when the audit was performed.
Changing the state of an SPB service from abnormal to normal
For the state of an SPB service to be normal, you must make sure its B-VLAN to ECT algorithm
mapping is the same across the following places:
SPB service added to the VFM's SPB module.
B-VLAN plan. For more information, see "Creating a B-VLAN plan."
SPB devices.
For more information, see "Viewing SPBM configuration."
To change the state of an SPB service from abnormal to normal:
1. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > SPB.
2. Click the SPB Services tab.
3. In the SPB service list, click the Abnormal link in the Status column.
The configuration comparison page appears. This page displays the B-VLAN to ECT algorithm
mapping of the SPB service and the BEB devices. If The ECT index incompliant with the B-VLAN
plan is displayed in red.
4. Record the B-VLAN ID to ECT algorithm index mapping for the SPB service and that on the
device.
5. Click the View icon for the BEB device.
The VSI list of the BEB device appears.
6. Click the Modify icon for the selected B-VLAN, and then change the B-VLAN configuration
on the device to be the same as that in the SPB service.
If the B-VLAN configuration on the BEB device is the same as that in the SPB service, you do
not need to perform this step.
