Querying FCoE switches
To query FCoE switches:
1. To perform a quick query, on the upper right corner of the FCoE switch list, enter a partial or
complete fabric name in the query field, and click the Query icon .
To perform an advanced query, click the Advanced icon next to the query field, specify
the following query criteria:
• Device Label—Enter a partial or complete device label of the FCoE switch.
• WWN—Enter a partial or complete WWN of the FCoE switch. The WWN is initialized
by the manufacturer.
• IP Address—Enter a partial or complete IP address of the FCoE switch.
• Status—Select the alarm state for the FCoE switch from the list.
Empty fields are ignored.
NOTE: The name of an FCoE switch is the label plus the IP address and does not serve as
a query criterion.
2. Click Query to display all matched FCoE switches.
Viewing FCoE switch details
In the FCoE switch list, click an FCoE switch name to view the FCoE switch details. For more
information, see HP IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.
