Querying CEE interfaces
To query a CEE interface:
1. To perform a quick query, on the upper right corner of the CEE interface list, enter a partial
or complete CEE name of the interface in the query field,, and click the Query icon .
To perform an advanced query, click the Advanced icon next to the query field, specify
the following query criteria:
Name—Enter the name of the CEE interface, including the interface type and interface
number. This field supports fuzzy matching.
Status—Select the operational status for the CEE interface from the list. Options include
All, Unmanaged, Unknown, Up, Down, and Disabled.
MAC—Enter the MAC address of the CEE interface. This field supports fuzzy matching.
Empty fields are ignored.
2. Click Query to display all CEE interfaces that match the query criteria.
Synchronizing CEE interfaces
VFM does not separately synchronize VFC interfaces and their configurations. It synchronizes VFC
interface information when synchronizing FCoE switches. For more information, see "Synchronizing
FCoE switches".
Enabling or disabling CEE interfaces
Perform this task to modify the administrative status of CEE interfaces. When the status is disabled,
the operational status of the CEE interface is disabled. When the status is enabled, the operational
status of the CEE interface is up or down, depending on the link status.
To enable or disable CEE interfaces:
1. In the CEE interface list, select one or more CEE interfaces, and click State Setting.
2. Click Port Up or Port Down in the menu that appears. A confirmation dialog box appears.
3. Click OK.
Viewing and comparing the interface DCBX parameters on a CEE interface and in VFM
To ensure the interface DCBX parameters on the CEE interface are the most current, synchronize
the FCoE switch before performing this task.
To view and compare the interface DCBX parameters on a CEE interface and in VFM:
1. In the CEE interface list, click the icon or for the CEE interface. The interface DCBX
parameters on the CEE interface are in the left pane and the interface DCBX parameters in
VFM are in the right pane.
NOTE: The icon indicates that the DCBX parameters on the CEE interface and in VFM
are consistent. The icon indicates inconsistency.
2. Display all contents or different contents of the interface DCBX parameters.
Select Show All to display all CLI configurations for the interface DCBX parameters on the CEE
interface and in VFM. Select Show Different Only to display the CLI configurations that are
different for the interface DCBX parameters on the CEE interface and in VFM.
