HP Intelligent Management Center v7.0 VAN Fabric Manager Administrator Guide

1. In the storage list, click the Details icon for the target device.
The HBA Card area includes:
WWN—WWN of the storage device HBA. If the HBA has only one N_Port, the HBA
WWN is the N_Port WWN. If the HBA has more than one N_Port, the HBA WWN is
selected from the N_Port WWNs.
Node Name—WWN of the storage device.

Synchronizing storage devices
VFM does not support direct synchronization of storage devices.
When you synchronize configurations of an FCoE switch to VFM, registration of storage devices
is also synchronized to VFM. For more information, see "Synchronizing FCoE switches."
Managing VSANs
A physical SAN can be divided into multiple VSANs. The isolated VSANs provide services
independently, which improves network flexibility and security. Devices in a VSAN cannot access
devices in other VSANs.
Viewing the VSAN list
To view the VSAN list:
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > SAN Configuration > Fabric
Management.
3. In the fabric list, click the target fabric name.
