3. In the fabric resources tree, click Fabric Management > the target fabric name > the target
VSAN name > Zone Aliases.
The following menus are available in the zone alias list:
• Add—Click this button to add a zone alias to the VSAN.
• Delete—Click this button to delete zone aliases from the VSAN.
• Refresh—Click this button to refresh the zone alias list.
Zone alias list contents
• Name—Name of the zone alias. Click the name to enter the zone member management
page for the zone alias.
• Member Count—Number of zone members in the zone alias.
• Member—Zone members and their type.
• Operation—Click the Operation icon to display a menu that contains the Modify and
Copy options
Querying zone aliases
To query a zone alias:
1. Open the zone alias list page.
2. Enter a partial or complete zone alias name in the query field, and click the Query icon .
Adding a zone alias
To add a zone alias:
1. In the zone alias list page, click Add.
2. Enter a zone alias name. The name must be unique in the VSAN.
3. Click OK.
Modifying a zone alias
To modify a zone alias:
1. In the zone alias list, click the Operation icon for the target zone alias and select Modify
from the popup menu.
2. Enter a new zone alias name. The name must unique in the VSAN.
3. Click OK.
Copying a zone alias
To copy a zone alias:
1. In the zone alias list, click the Operation icon for the target zone alias and select Copy
from the popup menu.
2. Enter a new zone alias name. The name must unique in the VSAN.
3. Click OK.
The new zone alias and the original zone alias share the same members. The only difference
between them is their names.
Deleting zone aliases
To delete zone alias:
1. From the zone alias list, select one or more zone aliases.
2. Click Delete.
A confirmation dialog box appears.
