Viewing the RB List
To view the RB list:
1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select VAN Fabric Manager > LAN Configuration > TRILL.
The RB List displays all RBs.
RB List contents
• Status—Alarm state of the RB in the IMC Platform. RB alarm states include Unmanaged,
Unknown, Normal, Major, Minor, Warning, and Critical. For more information, see HP
IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.
• Device Name—Device name of the RB. By default, the device name is in the format of
device Label (IP address), which is the same device name in IMC, and the IP address
specified by IMC when the device is added. Click the device name to view its details.

NOTE: The device name format depends on the setting of the Device Info Display
parameter. You can go to System > System Configuration > System Settings to configure
the Device Info Display parameter.
• IP—IP address of the RB.
• System ID—System ID of the RB, which uniquely identifies the RB in the TRILL network.
• Nickname—Nickname of the RB, which is the address of the RB in the TRILL network. VFM
displays the nickname in decimal notation, even though the nickname is specified on the
RB in hexadecimal notation.
• Last Sync—Time when VFM last synchronized the RB.
• Sync Status—Displays the most recent synchronization result: Succeess, Failure, or
Synchronizing.
• Operation—Click the Operation icon . A menu appears, providing the following
options:
◦ Device Configuration—Click the option to modify TRILL configuration of the RB. For
more information, see "Modifying TRILL configuration of an RB."
◦ Interface List—Click the option to enter the Interface List page of the RB. On the page,
you can configure TRILL parameters for interfaces of the RB. For more information,
see "Managing TRILL configuration of an interface."
Querying RBs
To query an RB:
1. Open the RB List page.
